Hong Kong Arts Festival is the most awaited festival in Hong Kong, which is an international arts festival showcasing the best Asian and local talents along with the top artists from around the world. The festival in its 45th year boasts of performances and events by top international, regional, national, and local talent over the course of one month. The festival showcases an assorted mix of classical and contemporary works that reaches an audience of 1, 20,000 people including the participants of the Festival’s Young Friends Scheme.
Venues for Hong Kong Arts Festival Events
The various theatre, music, dance and opera events will be conducted in different venues. Some of which are Hong Kong Cultural Centre, HK Academy for Performing Arts, and Hong Kong City Hall.
Hong Kong Arts Festival Tickets
Advance booking of the 45th Hong Kong Arts Festival 2018 will be from 7th October 2016 to 30th November 2016. Counter bookings for the tickets will commence from 10th December 2016 onwards. Regulars can also book their tickets through URBTIX outlets, Hong Kong ticketing or online. You are also advised to book your tickets well in advance as tickets for certain shows are immediate sell outs.
HKAF Performances and Events
Over 40 shows will be held at the 45th HKAF that will showcase group performers and solo artists from overseas as well as from Hong Kong. Some of the performances and events that you should not miss out are given below.
Viva Verdi, Verdi's La Traviata by San Carlo Theatre in Naples; The Chicago Symphony Orchestra; and Romeo and Juliet by The American Ballet Theatre are some of the events that will keep you entertained at the festival.
