Alaska though untouched, untamed, and full of dramatic beauty is a state that offers a plethora of choices for places to stay. Of course the choice for accommodation runs from expensive and luxurious hotels to lodgings with very basic amenities.
During the peak season hotels in the major towns like Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau have fairly high rates hence it is advisable to book your hotels well in advance. Budget accommodation is not available easily but with little research you can find an accommodation that suits your budget.
And if you are the adventurous types and love to spend your holidays in rugged locales of Alaska then some of the towns have cheap camping grounds where you can enjoy your holidays in the lap of nature.
