What to Pack
Carry lightweight cottons like pants, jeans shirts and tee shirts. However, women have to be careful while dressing up as wearing shorts; skirts or tight fitting clothes may invite unwanted trouble so to be on the safer side and dress up modestly. For the late evenings you can also carry a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt along with a comfortable pair of walking shoes. Other basic things to carry include- camera, sunscreen, toiletry and mosquito repellent. Don’t forget to carry your raincoat if visiting in the monsoons.
For the adventure buffs it is well advised to come prepared to Cappadocia- swimming costumes for rafting, sneakers and jackets for mountain biking, heavy woollens for skiing and long pants or jeans with cotton tee shirts for hiking/trekking/walking and exploring the underground cities are very essential.
