On the Adderley Street side of the station, the Tourism Gateway is a complex housing various agencies, and is the base for many tour buses. Here you'll find the useful Captour office (Mon–Fri 8am–7pm, Sat 9am–5pm; 418 5202 or 418 5214), which also provides free city maps. Also here is Satour (Mon–Thurs 8am–4.30pm, Fri 8am–4pm, Sat 10am–12.30pm; 21 6274), helpful for general information about South Africa.
