|
Auli, located in Chamoli district of Uttrakhand, is one of the less explored hill stations in India. At an elevation of 2,500 metres above the sea level, Auli nestles in the snow-capped mountains flanked by coniferous and oak forests and offer magnificent view of Mt. Nanda Devi, Nanga Parbat, Dungagiri, Beethartoli, Nikanth Hathi Parbat and Ghori Parbat.
While its slopes beckon daring and gallant skiing enthusiasts, its pristine natural beauty and its alpine atmosphere lure many tourists. Essentially a small and serene hill station, Auli is a skier’s paradise and a haven for nature lovers.
