Where to Stay in Mizoram

Places to stay in Mizoram are mostly reasonable; however, the hotels are equipped with very basic amenities and services. If you have limited budget, State Guest House run by the Mizoram Government is a viable option. The Tourist Lodge in Aizawl is also a good option.

There are other hotels such as Tourist Home and Tourist Complex. Most of the hotels are concentrated in the Zarkawt area in Aizawl. The rates are dependent on the number of occupants in the room. Most of these hotels have 12 to 36 rooms and can be booked through telephone. Some of these hotels have deluxe rooms and are priced around Rs 500.
