Best Time to Visit Bandhavgarh

Like many of India’s other wildlife preserves, national parks and sanctuaries, Bandhavgarh National Park too closes for visitors during the monsoon months, July to end September.

There are three distinct seasons here: The cooler months between October to February are good as the weather is very pleasant. The hot months are between March and mid June and this is when chances of tiger sightings are very high as the animals come in search of water holes so if its the animals you want to sight, then this may well be the best time to visit, notwithstanding the weather. In mid June the rains descend and carry on till almost mid October. So this time is highly avoidable and anyway the park is closed for the better part of this period.
