Saputara Travel Guide

Popularly known as Gujarat’s only hill station, Saputara hill is situated at an altitude of about 1000m in the Sahyadari Range. The hill station with its bracing climate, lots of greenery is a striking and densely wooded town that offers a refreshing break from the hustle-bustle of the city life. Saputara located in the Dang district of Gujarat, is a popular weekend getaway for those looking for respite from the maddening cacophony of the city life.

Incidentally the meaning of Saputara is the abode of snakes and an image of a serpent on the banks of River Sarpagana is worshipped by the tribal on Holi.
