Best time to visit

The best time to visit Akshardham Temple, Gandhinagar is between the months of October and March as the weather during these months are quite pleasant in Gandhinagar and conducive for visiting this beautiful temple complex.

The Akshardham Temple came into international limelight when two heavily armed terrorists attacked the temple in September 2002.

Timing

The Akshardham Temple is open from Tuesday to Sunday and the first entry is scheduled at 9:30am and the last entry is scheduled at 6:30pm. The temple is closed on Monday.
