Bhuj, the district headquarters of Kachchh District, is the second largest district in India. Situated in the state of Gujarat Bhuj is basically an industrial town. This place is also known for its beautiful Hindu temples and palaces.

Bhuj is filled with rustic charms. The little interiors and exteriors of the houses in the town are decorated with mud and mirrors which adds up to the beauty of the town. The town also houses one of the oldest museums of Gujarat. Its is renowned for its special designed Bhuj embroideries, jwelleries and seashell toys.

Bhuj name is derived out from the name of the Bhujia Fortress, which is situated at a nearby hill and provides a complete view of the city.
