Shimla has a host of hotels ranging from 5 star luxury to budget and heritage proerties. If you are traveling in summer be sure to make your reservations early as hotels tend to get filled up soon. In the higher category of hotels The Cecil would be a good choice and Woodville Place in the heritage category. Smaller budget hotels abound in Shimla and are mainly located around the ridge.
