How to get there by Air
Bihar is connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Lucknow and Ranchi by daily flights that land at Patna. Tourist taxis and buses are readily available to provide transport to the city from the airport, only 10 km or so from the city centre.

How to get there by Rail
Bihar is on the main routes crisscrossing the state from the east to the northern parts of the country. Express and superfast trains connect Patna, Gaya and many other towns and cities in Bihar to Delhi, Lucknow, Calcutta, Varanasi, Amritsar, Mumbai, Siliguri and Guwahati.

How to get there by Road
The National Highway passes through Patna and links with other roads and state highways that connect with Gaya, Nalanda, Madhubani (famous for the paintings of the same name) and many other towns and cities. NH 28A will take you to the Indo-Nepal border town of Raxaul where you may cross into the Himalyan kingdom.
