Entry Requirements:
Indian Nationals: No permit is needed to visit Andamans. However, if you want to visit Nicobar Islands and other tribal areas, you will have to apply the Deputy Commissioner, Andaman District, Port Blair. Permission may or may not be granted.
Foreign Nationals: All Foreign Nationals need a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) visit Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Permits can be obtained from Indian Missions Overseas; Immigration Offices at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi; and Immigration Authorities at airports in Port Blair, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi. The permit is usually valid for 30 days and certain tourist attractions only.
