Cathay Pacific is all set to introduce a new Premium Economy Class experience for its travellers that features extra spacious and quieter cabin, 38 inches seat pitch, with bigger recline, large meal and cocktail table, footrest, personal television etc. The airline has started selling its new Premium Economy Class tickets for flights departing from April 1, 2012. Passengers booked on this class will also get priority check-in, increase in baggage allowance complimenting other luxurious amenities on board.
The airline is planning to feature the Premium Economy cabin on few selected flights. Starting May 2012 these cabins will be available on flights to and from London and later in the year the airline will provide this facility in markets like Los Angeles, Melbourne, San Francisco etc. Brisbane and Mumbai will get this service by October 2012.
