Bangalore airport operator, Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) has announced a ‘No Runway Movement’ leading to temporary shutdown and no flight operation at the airport from March 11, 2012 till May 4, 2012.
The first phase of full closure will start March 11 till April 3, 2012 from 10:30 hrs till 17:30 hrs. Further there will be two more phases of runway closure starting from April 4, 2012 until May 1, 2012 and May 2, 2012 till May 4, 2012. Various airlines have already rescheduled their timetable and passengers who are travelling from or to Bangalore between the above mentioned dates are advised to check on their flight schedules to avoid inconvenience.
