Air India is mulling over launching direct services to Australia from Delhi starting sometime in the third quarter of 2012-13. After commencing its service on India-Australia sector the national carrier will operate non-stop flights on this route. The airline has proposed to launch direct flights from New Delhi to Sydney and Melbourne.
