Perth Pride
Perth
The
month long celebration in Perth showcases the creative genius of the gay community, its
enormous wealth of talent and its artistic achievements. The grand finalé is the Perth
Pride parade featuring floats, bands and marchers before winding up with a party to beat
all others.

Homosexual Histories Conference
Adelaide
Seminars, symposia and workshops at the
University of Adelaide, to discuss and debate Australias homosexual history, the
homosexual community and its contribution.

Feast 2001
Adelaide
Launched in 1997, Feast is the biggest gay and lesbian cultural
festival held in Adelaide. It takes pride of place at the forefront of the gay movement as
a multi-art form cultural festival with events spanning the gamut of cinema, theatre,
music, cabarets, drag shows, comedy, dance parties and community forums. In barely three
years from inception, Feast has become a major event on the Aussie cultural circuit
transcending boundaries of sexuality and life style choices.
Feast 2001 features a programme of
128 cultural events spread out over three weeks and four weekends - the party scene is on
permanently, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the duration of the festival.  |
