1.      What travel services can I buy from JourneyMart.com?

JourneyMart.com is a Global Travel Mall created specially for the traveller, which brings travel service providers from all over the world on to one platform.  We are not the travel provider and do not sell travel services to you.  The JourneyMart search quickly searches for the travel providers who match your requirements and leads you to their JourneyStores.  Here you can book and buy travel services from them directly.

2. Which browser works best with JourneyMart.com?

We recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 4.0 or above.  This  optimizes all functions of JourneyMart.com.

3. Do I need to register before I buy any of the products on your site?

If you are just visiting the site, you may browse through Journey Mart.com without registering. Should you choose to make a reservation or buy a product from any of the stores on the site, or use JourneyPost, the community area, you will be required to register by filling in a simple form online with your personal details.  Registrations are free. You will need to fill in a password in order to keep your information private and secure. We ensure that your personal information will not be used for any marketing or sales purpose without your permission.

4. Do I need to register every time I want to buy a product from a store on your site?

No, a one time registration is all that is needed. But do remember to log in every time you  visit JourneyMart.com. The personal information you have already provided will automatically show up on the booking form when you wish to book & buy products and services  from stores on the site, saving you time and effort. However, additional questions pertaining to the product / service will need to be answered.

5. What happens if I forget my password? How do I log on?

If you forget your password, just go to the “Forgot password?” link on the right hand side of the homepage and click there. You will be asked a clue question that you answered at the time of registration, and if your answer matches, your password  will be mailed to you at the email address entered by you when you first registered.

6. How do I find information on destinations?

Our Destination Explorer attempts to give you in depth information on 186 countries around the globe. Whether it is information on the climate, accommodation, public holidays or sightseeing – you will find it here. The icon for Destination Explorer / Destinations is on the Home Page as well as many other pages on JourneyMart.com.

7. How do I find travel providers  I am looking for quickly and easily on your site?

Click into the Direct Links of specific categories provided at the left hand side of the home page.

8.How do I confirm whether the travel product or service provider on your site is genuine? Does JourneyMart take responsibility for the agent?

All travel stores on JourneyMart sign a binding legal contract confirming that all information provided by them, about their company and product, is true and accurate. However, all transactions are between you, the user  and the travel provider and JourneyMart is not responsible or liable for any issues therein.  For further information, please read the Terms and Conditions.

9. Do I get any benefits for being a frequent user of JourneyMart – points/discounts etc?

Frequent Site User programmes will be launched at a later date. We will certainly keep our registered users advised about all new developments.

10. Can JourneyMart assist me in getting discounted rates?

JourneyMart is not the service provider. You could look for special deals within the stores or click into the  Deal Club,  where special deals are offered by travel providers.

11. Can Journey Mart plan an itinerary for the destinations I plan to visit?

Through Travel Agent Locator, the site leads you to tour operators, travel agents and service providers who will be able to plan your itinerary according to your preferences and interests related to destinations and activities.

12. How can I share my good/bad experiences with others on Journey Mart?

The JourneyPost area is where you can pen travelogues, post messages on the Message Board, share your experiences and chat with other users.

13. Is it safe to give my credit card number on the site?

All your transactions are conducted  directly with travel providers  on JourneyMart within their JourneyStores. JourneyMart provides a completely secure 128 bit encryption to ensure protection during transmission of sensitive data like your credit card number.  You will be able to verify whether the area where you are submitting the credit card number is secure by looking for the closed lock icon on the bottom of your screen.  It is inadvisable to enter your credit card number on a free flowing email format that is not encrypted.
