For all the music lovers and adventure enthusiast out there, the Storm Festival is the perfect event to attend. This two-day camp-out music festival held in the hills of Coorg features 37 top notch DJ’s and bands from around the world. The festival will take place in an entirely eco-friendly manner and is expected to be specially appealing to nature lovers as it is set amidst the pristine beauty of Coorg.

This event is scheduled to take place at Stormfields, Napoklu in Coorg and will be hosted by Nikhil Chinapa. Along with many celebrities and DJs, this event will have performances by DJ Richard Durand, Julie Thompson, Breed and Pearl. Indian Ocean, The Raghu Dixit Project and Lesle Lewis are few popular bands who will be performing at the festival. Camping at Storm Festival

    The festival offers camping options or you can also bring and fix your own tents. Lockers will be provided for your personal belongings at the festival. Travellers can also stay at any of the Coorg hotels or home stays.


Tips for the Festival
  • Attendees are supposed to bring ID/Age proof along with tickets
  • Pack sun block, torches and sneakers. Also pack light sweater as it might get cold during the evenings

    Don't forget to bring along your tent receipts, else you wouldn’t be allowed to sleep within the tents.

    The Storm wristbands and Dog tags given at the check point are to be worn all the time till the festival ends. Else you might be asked to leave the premises

  • Carry enough cash with you as the nearest ATM is some 7 kms away from the venue
  • Cigarettes, water, beverages, alcohol and food are not allowed from outside. Smokers can only smoke in the smoking zone
  • Don't litter on site. Take care not to hurt the environment in any way
  • The eco-friendly venue is a 'no-plastic' and 'no-drug' zone
  • Avoid bringing electronic gadgets, chemicals, sharp or heavy objects and don’t leave your baggage unattended. Pets are not allowed

Coorg, the unspoilt hill station in Karnataka, homes various communities with diverse ethnic origins. This beautiful hill station with panoramic nature views is a nature lover’s delight. Coorg is a perfect holiday destination as you can stroll in the dense forests, hike through the coffee shrubs and spice plantations and enjoy the Abby Falls.

How to Reach Coorg

This 48-hour party experience in the hills will take place in the Stormfields, at Napoklu in Coorg. You can reach the venue by landing at the nearest airport in Mysore that is 120 kms away. You can also reach at Mangalore or Bengaluru airport that is some 135 and 250 kms away respectively. Further you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Coorg.

If you plan your travel by road, Coorg is well connected to major Karnataka cities like Mysore (120 km), Hassan (115 km), Mangalore (135 km) and Bangalore (250 km).

The nearest railhead is in Mysore that is 120 kms away. You can take a leisurely drive of two and half hours to reach Storm Festival from Mysore railway station.
