The migration of the wildebeest though a riveting sight, is not the only reason one should visit Serengeti. Big game viewing is high on the list at Serengeti too. The wildebeest at this time are in the short grass plains of Southern Serengeti and the calving season is in full swing in January, February and March. This in turn attracts predators and chances of sightings of the Big Five are high.
The weather is good and there is little or no rain – a great time for a safari. So go on, book your tickets NOW!
