Devigarh Palace, an 18th century Delwara Fort Palace, located approximately 28 kms from Udaipur, is touted as one of the most luxurious and romantic stays, not only in Rajasthan but in the world. The palace which has been converted to a resort has been completely revamped to accommodate new facilities but, it has, at the same time managed to hold on to the old-world charm, making the stay interesting and fascinating to say the least. Accommodation
There is a choice of four kinds of suites for you to stay. The Devigarh, Aravali, Palace and Garden suites all have a sublime view of the oldest mountain range in the world on one hand and the historical and quaint village of Delaware on the other. No matter which one you chose, all 39 suites are lavish, comfortable and beautiful and are equipped with all world class facilities.
The Devigarh and the Palace suite together make up the Devigarh Complex. The complex follows the theme of ‘Shiva and Shakti’ and is an interesting blend of gold and other rich shades. It has a black marble swimming pool, two bedrooms and the larger Devigarh suite also has a private sun deck and a Jacuzzi. It also has a Plasma TV, Wi-Fi, butler service (only on request) and a complimentary bottle of wine amongst other amenities.

The Aravali Suites, are some of the most spacious and beautifully designed accommodations within the resort. One of the 5 suites, is a duplex with a bedroom and bathroom on the upper level and dining and seating on the lower. The interiors of this suite are based on India’s long-established image, the lotus, and the suite also overlooks the spectacular black marble courtyard, decorated with a blossoming lotus-shaped fountain. Each of these suites provides a Plasma TV, mini bar/ fridge, Wi-Fi, balconies, alcoves and in-room dining.
The 16 Palace Suites are exclusive with their own unique designs. They are decorated with semi-precious stones in true Rajasthani style, adding to the magnificence and beauty of the place. The balconies and bay windows all give a glorious view of the rolling mountains and the fields. The services include a Plasma TV, Wi-Fi and mini bar/fridge.
The 17 Garden Suites, each with their own semi-covered sit our areas, offer a striking view of the vibrant and colourful flower gardens. The interiors of these suites have been tastefully decorated with local green marbles, providing an aura of their external surroundings. The amenities offered in these suites include a TV, mini bar/fridge, tea/ coffee facilities and Wi-Fi.

Facilities
Devigarh Resort also ensures lip smacking delicious food for their guests. Enjoy Indian and international cuisines at the restaurants, made by excellent and experienced chefs who make certain that you have the best meal prepared with the freshest ingredients. The bar at Devigarh is bedecked in vibrant colours and local flavours, serving a host of spirits along with the usual and some exotic mixtures. There are also private venues where 2 to 50 guests can be seated. Feast on sumptuous dishes on the roof top, lounge or the Sheesh Mahal.

The Resort also offers Spa and Wellness services with their in-house Devi Spa by L'Occitane. To provide the holistic wellness experience, the services provided include a multitude of treatments, massages, meditation and wellness cuisine, all provided in location which epitomizes luxurious relaxation. Aside from this, one can also snuggle up with a book in the cosy Devigarh library or the more active can indulge in activities such as trekking, swimming, pool, camel safaris and horse riding.

Getting there
Counted amongst the top-notch hotels, it is easily accessible. The nearest airport is at Udaipur, which is served by direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai. Udaipur is also connected by rail to almost all the major cities of the country. The resort is well linked by road as well and can easily be reached from Delhi, Udaipur, Jaipur, Chittaurgarh, Bikaner and Ajmer. While the resort is approximately 28 kms from Udaipur, the driving distance between Udaipur and other main cities is estimated to be 624 kms from Delhi, 374 kms from Jaipur and about 335 kms from Jodhpur.

Nearby Places
While at the resort, take a walk in the Delwara village or go to Eklingji and Nagda which are just a little away from here. Also the city of Udaipur is a must visit.
