The Boston Marathon is a very popular and much awaited event. Held on the third Monday of April, it is 26 mile long marathon starting in Hopkinton and ending in Boston.
The Boston Globe Jazz and Blues Festival is held in September each year. Concerts are held all over the city and performers come from all over to take part in this festival.
The Cambridge River Festival takes place in June and is celebrated on Memorial Drive which turns into one big street party with lots of music, dancing and of course food!
The Boston Harbor Fest is held in June when the harbor and quayside area transforms into a stage and it is celebration time
