Kusadasi, one of the prime holiday resorts of Turkey, takes its name from the small islet of Guvercinada (Pigeon Island) in the bay. Kusadasi, situated on the west coast of Turkey, is a major Aegean resort town and cruise ship port. Most visitors come to Kusadasi as it is located very close to the renowned ruins of Ephesus.
