Religious Celebrations- Muslims follow the lunar calendar. The holy month of Ramadan (Ramazan) is followed by the three day Seker Bayram (Eid ul Fitr) and the four day Kurbani Bayrami (Eid ul-Adha) when each Muslim family sacrifices a ram to celebrate Abraham’s near- sacrifice of Isaac.
