| | Best Time to Visit Chiang Mai |
| |
|
Compared to the rest of Thailand, Chiang Mai, because of its location amidst the mountains of northern Thailand, is relatively cool and does not become stiflingly hot or stuffy. It is, therefore, a good destination even during the summers but remember to take along sweaters/jackets, as it can get quite chilly in the evenings. In winters, the temperature fall pretty low; so don’t head north if you’re looking for warmth and sunshine.
