TaiwanWhere to Stay in Taiwan |
| |
Taiwan has a wide range of places to stay for its visitors ranging from luxury hotels to budget ones with basic facilities. Interestingly the hotels in Taiwan are rated according to `plum blossoms’ instead of `stars’. There are around 77 hotels rated as `international tourist’ or `tourist’, which generally means that the least you’ll get is bed and board; according to the plum blossom rating, the facilities and luxuries differ. Some of the tourist hotels are fairly affordable, but if you’re on a shoestring budget, you’ll be better off going to a hostel or a youth activity centre, which may not be the ultimate in luxury, but will at least give a place to sleep.
