| | Where to Stay in Balearic Islands |
| |
|
The Balearic Islands have plenty of choices to offer as far as places to stay for tourist is concerned; ranging from luxury hotels to budget ones are to be found all across the islands, and there are chalets, guesthouses, and apartments for hire.
Do remember, if you’re going to the Balearics in the summer, to book accommodation well in advance; the islands’ popularity as a summer destination means that accommodation is usually hard to come by during the peak season.
For those who are looking for budget accommodation, the best bet is the various campsites which dot the islands -- the Balearics have about 11 designated campsites although there are lots of other open spaces where you can set up your own tent.
Other than that, there’s a youth hostel in Palma on Mallorca, and a little searching on almost any of the islands can throw up one or two- or even more- comfortable guesthouses which are not too expensive.
