Getting Around
By Car
One of the more popular ways of getting around is renting a car and exploring the country yourself. Holland still has an excellent highway system, and over 40 car rental agencies to choose from. A great option for cruising through the countryside, though not advisable in the metros.
By Train:
The Netherland Railways is an excellent way to discover the Dutch landscape. Efficient and extensive, this option remains a popular one for it is inexpensive as well as time-saving.
By Bus:
Inter city buses are another way to get around comfortably, as are sightseeing motor coaches.
By Air:
Business travellers often find NLM, the domestic wing of KLM, an easy and convenient way to connect to other cities.
By Bike:
For the more adventurous rent a bike and see the countryside at close quarters. The distances between cities are short and flat which makes it easy to cycle. There are also special lanes for bicyclists so if you have time and a spirit of adventure in you cycling is a great way to see the Netherlands!
