NepalWhere to Stay in Nepal |
| |
Nepal has plenty of good places to stay as the accommodation ranges from luxury to budget hotels. The luxury accommodation is restricted to Kathmandu whereas much accommodation in Nepal is mid-rung. Many homes have been converted in hotels therefore you will find homely atmosphere in many hotels with some family member serving at the reception. Mid-rung accommodation is delightfully cheap and the rooms are usually neat and clean. Room service may be no more elaborate than complimentary tea in the mornings but the service is invariably homely. Along trekking trails there are few options apart from camping like some of the most popular routes have accommodation in extremely primitive rooms that may be rented out to a weary traveller.
