Where to Stay in Morocco

There is an entire range of places to stay in this tourist-friendly country. For those who wish to live in more style, there is a wide variety of international standard luxury hotels to choose from.

Also available are the Riads or the houses built around a patio garden. Usually Riads are rented on per room basis or often the whole house. Most of these Riads have roof terraces and some of them have Jacuzzis. From low range to mid range to luxury properties Riads fit the bill of every tourist. They are mostly found in the Marrakech, Tangier and Fes which are more popular among the tourists.

At the lower end of the mid-rung there is a choice between youth hostels available only in the cities of Asni, Azrou, Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakesh, Meknes, Rabat and Tangier. Under budget category you would find hotels that are basic facilities and camping.
