Langkawi lies in the tropical belt so enjoys a tropical climate the year round. The temperatures stay between 23°C - 34°C during the year. The dry season is from November to March so is perhaps the best time to visit this lovely paradise island. The monsoons start in April and carry on intermittently right till October. But it is safe to say Langkawi is a year round destination as it never rains constantly here.

The months from November to March are generally speaking warm and sunny during the day and cooler in the nights making them the ideal time for planning a tropical retreat.
