Eating Out in Varanasi

You will easily find good restaurants in Varanasi attached to luxury hotels and in the cantonment area. The restaurants in the cantonment area have varied cuisine, including Indian, Chinese and Continental. Some of the restaurants have bars here but keep in mind that the 1st and 7th of every month and some public holidays are dry days.

For entertainment in the evening, visit the Clarks Cultural Centre (Peshwa Palace, Raj Ghat). The programme begins at sunset with aarti (prayer with small lamps) of the Ganga, followed by dance and music performances.
