Shopping in Yercaud

There isn’t much shopping to be done in Yercaud, but tourists can shop at Salem markets on their way to Yercaud. Salem is quite famous for textiles and bright handloom fabrics. Most tourists pick up fresh spices from the shops here. Cloves and pepper are popular buys and organic garden produce is also sold in abundance along the road uphill from Salem to Yercaud. The Salem Co-operative Super Market Branch and the Main Bazaar are the main places to shop here.
