The Kabini River, a tributary of the Cauvery, flows quietly through the Nagarhole National Park, encircling a patch of green called Kabini. The exuberant Kabini jungle is home to leopard, gaur, antelope, crocodile, tiger, cobra, python, and herds of elephant among other animals.
