Kali Podu, Huthri are some of the festivals in Coorg that are celebrated with much fanfare and gusto.
Kali Podu is held in September with great flourish, and this is when the proud Kodavas take out their weapons, polish them, and put them away.
Huthri in November/December and Madikeri Dassera.
