Getting Around Mykonos It is quite easy to get a taxi at the main square of the town, but in peak tourist time you may have to wait in queue.
The bus network in Mykonos is fairly good, so hop onto one and get around the island. There are two main bus stations one in Fabrika Square in the southern part and the buses from here normally head south towards Platis Yialos and Paradise Beach and the other station in the northern part of town and they cover the northern areas of Agios Steafnos and Tourlos.
In summer you can take a taxi-boat or Caiques – these are converted fishing boats that serve as water taxis and get you around the islands. The main station where you can get these are at Platis Yialos very near the bus station.
