An interesting blend of the old and the new, Bremen offers lots of rewarding sightseeing. Restored medieval streets and localities, like the Schnoor and the Bottcherstrasse, literally take you back in time, and the city’s many medieval monuments (mostly centered around the square known as Marktplatz) are a mix of Gothic and Renaissance architecture.

The resort of Lilienthal offers a wide range of interesting leisure activities. It is a 20 minute drive from Bremen and is a must visit place for those who visit Bremen.
