Every serious scholar’s Mecca, the university town of Oxford stands at the confluence of
two rivers- the Thames and the Cherwell, and is known primarily for its colleges, although it offers a lot besides degrees and doctorates.
A town with a personality, Oxford is where historic chapels and world class colleges exist in tandem with lively pubs and verdant parks - students throng the cobbled streets in the mornings rushing from one class to the other while others simply lounge in the wonderfully manicured quads of their college premises and get into serious discussion over Shakespeare or what have you.
So venture forth to Oxford and immerse yourself in literary pursuits…
