Croatia has long been a popular tourist destination, especially for visitors from Western Europe, and most particularly from Germany, and so finding accommodation or a place to stay is no big deal. Some of Croatia’s most elegant and oldest hotels date back to the late 1800s.
The Imperial in Dubrovnik is one of the oldest and among the most luxurious and expensive hotels. Other cities like Split and Zagreb also have a variety of accommodation for all choices and price ranges be it luxury hotels or inexpensive hotels or anything in between. There are, for less deep pockets, mid-range and economy hotels, camps and rooms for hire and hostels. The latter are particularly easy on the pocket, but don’t expect any luxuries.
