What to Pack
Pretty much everything you could possibly need is available in Croatia, but you may not be able to find brands common in other Western markets, so if you’re choosy, bring along adequate toiletries, medicines, or whatever. Croatia’s medical system isn’t that great, so it makes sense anyway to bring along a basic first aid kit. If you’re headed for the beaches, a major attraction in Croatia, don’t forget the sunscreen, sunglasses and floppy hat. If you’re visiting Croatia between May and September, light clothing should be sufficient, but parts of the country especially inland areas can be fairly chilly the rest of the year, so go adequately equipped with woollens.

Travel Documents
The Croatian government requires tourists of all nationalities to have a valid visa before they’re allowed to enter Croatian territory- the only people who do not need a visa are citizens of the USA. Everybody else who needs a visa can either approach one of the Croatian embassies or consulates overseas, or get a visa at the border, while crossing into the country. Visas are usually issued for a period of 3 months, and you can always get it renewed later on expiry.
