Drool over milkshakes, omelettes, burgers and sandwiches in the many snack and coffee bars and cafes dotting the city.
Theatre and music are alive and kickin' in Calgary. Check out performances, old and new, comedy and tragedy, conventional and experimental at the various playhouses in town! Prominent among these are the Calgary Centre for the Performing Arts, the Loose Moose Theatre and the Pumphouse Theatre. Catch the Alberta Ballet performances at the Jubilee Auditorium and the Calgary Philharmonic orchestra at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. For celebrity performances, the Canadian Airlines Saddledome is your best bet.
Cinema is another popular form of entertainment here -catch the latest Hollywood movies as well as offbeat foreign and American films in the theaters here.
