How to get there by Air

Brazil is well connected to the major cities of the world. Flights land in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo, the international airports. There are frequent direct flights from USA. All South American capital cities are connected to Sao Paolo and Rio by air. You can rent a car at the airport to get to the city, or take a taxi or bus.

How to get there by Road

You will need a translation of your home driving license or an international license. A car can be driven into Brazil from all South American countries (but check in the case of Bolivia). You could take a car for 90 days into Brazil from any of these countries without any special documents.

Getting Around

Great distances within Brazil sometimes necessitate air travel, but it can be expensive. Renting a car and going it your way is quite all right – roads are fairly good and all major cities and the tourist sites are linked. You will need a translation of your home driving license or an international license. It is suggested that you avoid driving at night for safety’s sake. Brazil is a relatively safe country, but it is best not to take risks. Buses are affordable and reliable. They are the only means of transport for the majority of the Brazilians. All major cities are linked by the bus service. It is excellent the way they connect Rio and Sao Paolo every 15 minutes.

Another year gone by and its time to make new resolutions and celebrate the New Year. All around the world ...
