Eating Out in Barbados

You’ll find an eating joint quite literally around every corner. From fast food places to top end restaurants serving authentic Barbadian cuisine, there are plenty of combinations to please your palate and the pocket. Several Barbadian restaurants offer various international cuisines, continental in particular is fairly easy to find, though an attempt at the Barbadian fare is recommended.

Entertainment wise, there’s plenty of activity during the major festivals, though on the whole the scene is rather modest. There are plenty of nightclubs that offer live and canned music when you are in the mood to boogie. Party cruises are a speciality of the Caribbean and Barbados is no exception. There are a number of restaurants that offer a combination of supper and live folk music performances.

In case you are in the mood to sample some of the local Barbadian rum, step into one of the numerous bars that speckle the Island, it’s a great opportunity to mingle with the locals.
