Go to Phillip Island if you want to ride the waves or watch a Penguin parade! Phillip Island is situated off the far south of the picturesque Gippsland region of Victoria. Amazing beaches line the shores of Phillip Island and whether you are looking for a secluded spot where you can sunbathe and go skinny dipping or a bustling beach where there is a lot of action, you are sure to find one to your liking in Phillip Island.
The island is an area of enormous diversity, offering everything from sandy beaches for swimming and sunbathing on the leeward northern side to rugged cliffs, strange rock formations, blowholes and pounding surf.
Phillip Island’s proximity to Melbourne and its salubrious climate makes it a popular city getaway.

Penguin Alert! Every evening at Summerland Beach, the little penguins nesting here, emerge from the sea and waddle up the beach. They do it with a certain amount of dignity and elegance, considering they have 4000 tourists gawking at them from a distance. The Penguins Parade is a favourite with tourists and locals alike, hence weekends are busy and crowded. The best viewing point is from the wooden boardwalk on the beach. So get there early and book in advance
at the Phillip Island Nature Park.
A Maze n Things is as unusual an attraction as its name. While driving on Phillip Island road, you will stop in your tracks when you see a giant purple tap seemingly floating in mid air and water flowing out from it. Whether you want to or not you will be drawn to it just to check out this weird tap! This is a fun entertainment centre where there are illusion rooms, mazes and puzzle cafes. Provides entertainment for the whole family and promises to be day of FUN.
