Located on the picturesque isle of Maui in Hawaii, Kahului
is an important commercial town and boasts of the island's biggest airport. Most visitors
to the island land here first. Though the town does not have too many interesting sites to
see, it makes a good base to explore the surrounding countryside and beaches. The
Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is located in the town and makes for
an interesting visit.
Fly into Kahului Airport, which is served by most airlines.
Accommodation in the town is limited though the nearby town of Wailuku has some reasonably
priced inns and motels. Kahului is very convenient to stock up on food.
