The island province of Cebu, with its capital at Cebu City, lies amidst the Visayan island group, between the two larger islands of Luzon (to the north) and Mindanao (to the south). Cebu, with its deep blue seas, its crisp white beaches and its coconut trees, is the dream destination for many a tourist- perfect for a relaxing holiday, just swimming and lazing around. In the past few years, Cebu has also managed to build up a reputation as a good place for business travellers. Thanks to the efforts of the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation, an increasing number of corporate houses are using Cebu not just for incentive tours, but also as conference venues.
