At 2322 metres, Daman has found favour with tourists who want to see the great mountains without actually trekking any great distance.

On a clear day several peaks taller than 8000 metres are visible, among them Annapurna III, Manaslu, Shisha Pangma and the great Everest. Langtang and Himalchuli also loom up on the horizon. Located just off the Tribhuvan Highway, your mountain panorama is just a three-hour ride away from Kathmandu.
